Winter Solstice celebrations take shape in many ways, yet the common threads of hope, renewal, and reflection bind them together.
This year we present Winter Solstice From Within by Baluji Shrivastav OBE as part of the Baluji Interactions Tour.
The event brings together a unique combination of sounds. Joining Baluji is a brilliant ensemble including blind Japanese violist Takashi Kikuchi, tabla maestro Yousuf Ali Khan, captivating vocalist Linda Shanson, and accomplished projection artist Dimitris Menexopoulos. Away from the Christmas frenzy, the artists invite us to join as a community in reflection, solace and inspiration as we search from within. In saying that, there may or may not be mince pies at the door.
